About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Web Server Administrator to help us manage our web hosting servers and provide ongoing technical support as needed. This is a freelance, retainer-based engagement ideal for someone with strong experience in web hosting environments (especially cPanel/WHM) and a proactive support approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and configure our web hosting reseller environment (e.g., WHM/cPanel).

Create and manage client hosting accounts, including domain and DNS configuration.

Provide on-demand support for common hosting issues (SSL, email, file access, performance, etc.).

Ensure server security, uptime, and regular backups.

Support with SSL installations, site migrations, and email configuration.

Troubleshoot and resolve hosting-related tickets in a timely manner.

Offer periodic recommendations for performance or structure improvements.
Requirements:

Strong experience with cPanel/WHM and general web hosting environments.

Solid understanding of DNS, SSL certificates, FTP/SFTP, domain setups, and email configurations.

Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.

Reliable response time within agreed hours.

Experience with reseller hosting platforms is a plus.
Engagement Terms:

Additional tasks billable at a pre-agreed per-project rates.
