WordPress Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites. The ideal candidate should have experience in creating custom themes, plugins, and optimizing website performance. You should be proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and have a strong understanding of SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites according to project requirements.
• Create custom themes and plugins to extend WordPress functionality.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
• Implement responsive design principles for mobile-friendly websites.
• Ensure WordPress websites are SEO-friendly and follow best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other tools as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, updates, and security measures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and website optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Experience with page builders like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Strong understanding of website security and performance optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce (if eCommerce is involved) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WordPress Multisite and Custom Post Types.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and headless WordPress development.
• Experience with hosting environments like cPanel, Cloudflare, and AWS.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
